PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The project aims to study and develop a new eco-sustainable smart system with very high energy efficiency for the kitchen of the future, integrating a hob-oven-hood station and a station for hot and cold drinks, both highly innovative compared to the state of the art and based on induction heating technologies; the system, managed by a single centralized intelligent controller with advanced Energy Management functions dedicated to the collection, monitoring and intelligent control of instantaneous energy consumption and loads, will integrate second-life green materials and original constituent solutions capable of giving it new features that hinder bacterial proliferation.
OBJECTIVES
- Design and develop new product classes for the prosumer market capable of integrating innovative technological, electronic and plant solutions, aimed at increasing the performance characteristics of individual products beyond current levels and setting new ambitious goals regarding efficiency, sustainability, smart control and supervision, maintainability
- Design and develop a totally sustainable and autonomous eco-system, composed of the main kitchen appliances in order to optimize energy consumption and allow intelligent management of instantaneous loads, through the integrated use of devices, interaction with the meter via Chain2 and the development of Energy Management Algorithms
RESULTS
- Innovative hob-oven-hood station and drinks station, integrating new technical-constructive and electronic solutions based on inductive technology for the operation of both the hob and the oven
- New and advanced FW/SW platform for the integration and energy management of the above stations implementing innovative Energy Management Algorithms
- Innovative GREEN materials obtained with processing waste from different production areas (glass recovery, quarry processing) and methyl methacrylate resin
