PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The Project aims to introduce a new technological solution for monitoring and controlling energy consumption and renewable energy production within Renewable Energy Communities (CER).

OBJECTIVES

• Development of a new product, the CHAIN2GATE FORC Plug&Play, with CONSUMER/PROSUMER and CER functionality;
• Development of an innovative app for visualizing and monitoring energy vectors, as well as managing notifications, controls, and alerts related to energy supply.

RESULTS

• An innovative smart device capable of communicating with the Open Meter, to exchange information on energy consumption and renewable energy production, and to display this data to the user both in individual mode and within the CER to which they belong, through a simple and intuitive interface;
• Design and development of a product that enables the monitoring and control of energy consumption and renewable energy production, including within Renewable Energy Communities. Its adoption can contribute to meeting the energy needs of the population and promote new socio-economic models focused on sustainability and circularity, reducing reliance on fossil fuels.
